Flood Benefit Show At The Coalfield Jamboree
The Southern Coalition for The Arts will present the Logan County Flood Benefit Show at the Coalfield Jamboree this Saturday starting at 6:30.
Organizer Daniel Johnson says they want to help the best way they know how.
“We’re just a bunch of musicians and there was nothing we could do to really help much, so we decided to put on a show.” Johnson said.
The bands and artists scheduled to perform include The Daddy Rabbit Band, The Aftermath, Roger Bryant, Charlie Ant Eterr, Kelli Williams, Easy Street, Let The Guilty Hang, Jeff Ellis, Tim Browning and the Widowmakers, and Beaver Knievel.
“There’s fifteen genres of music and over ten bands, so you do the math on the diversity of the show. It’s a festival atmosphere. You get a wristband at the door. You can come and go as you please and watch who you want.”
A donation of five dollars, non perishable food, or cleaning supplies will be taken at the door. For more info click here http://www.facebook.com/timbrowningmusic#!/pages/The-Logan-County-Flood-Benefit-Show/337347072979552
