The Logan County Health Department reported two additional deaths and 144 new infections of COVID-19 Monday.

Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the deaths of a 44-year-old male and 61-year-old female due to the complications brought on by coronavirus.

A total 144 new cases of the virus has been confirmed through laboratory testing since Friday.

Logan has 345 active cases, 3,670 recoveries and 103 fatalities for a cumulative total of 4,118 cases of COVID-19

Fifteen people are hospitalized.
