714 New COVID Cases, 24 Deaths Reported By WV DHHR Tues.



The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 714 additional infections of COVID-19 Tuesday.


Twenty-four additional deaths were reported. Since the beginning of the outbreak, a total of 4,316 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus.

Statewide, hospitalized cases remain unchanged from Monday’s update. A total 646 Mountain State residents are hospitalized for COVID-19. There are 190 patients in intensive care units and 117 of those patients require ventilators.


W.Va. Has 7,366 active cases of COVID-19.
