The Boone County Health Department confirmed 6 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday.
Two of the cases were work acquired, one was a contact of another case and three are community acquired.
All cases are home and in quarantine.
Boone County has a cumulative total of 193 cases of COVID-19. That includes 33 active cases, 159 recovered cases and one death.
Two patients are currently hospitalized.
