The Boone County Health Department confirmed two new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend.
Both cases are contacts of another case. They are both home and in quarantine.
As of press time, Boone County’s cumulative total of cases is 222, with 185 recovered cases, 36 active cases and 1 death.
There will be a FREE COMMUNITY testing event from 1-4 this afternoon at the Health Department. This will be held at the Health Department at 213 Kenmore Drive, Danville.
