In Monday’s press briefing, Gov. Jim Justice proposed adding a color to the state schools map.
The governor proposed adding gold to the map. The new color would be between yellow and orange.
Under gold, there could still be in-person classes as well as after school activities.
The governor also called a summit meeting at the governor’s mansion Monday – saying he’s concerned with a spike in cases in the state, especially in Kanawha and Monongalia County.
At least 12 deaths were recorded in W.Va. over the weekend.
