Lady Hillbillies pull away from Meadow Bridge in third quarter

MEADOW BRIDGE Man pulled away in the third quarter to defeat Meadow Bridge 49-36 Friday night at Meadow Bridge High School.


The Lady Hillbillies led 22-17 at halftime before outscoring the Lady Wildcats 15-8 in the third quarter.


Jenna Baisden led Man (5-12) with 17 points. Tori Honaker scored 14 points and Kami Anderson and Megan McCoy each had six points for the Lady Hillbillies.


Kierston Rozell scored 15 points for Meadow Bridge (16-3) while Charity Reichard had seven and Lilyan Hayes and Sierra Simmons five each for the Lady Wildcats.


Both teams will be back in action Wednesday as Meadow Bridge travels to River View while Man hosts Wahama.
