The Logan County Health Department confirmed 3 cases of COVID-19 Saturday.
As of noon today, Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed 3 cases through laboratory testing.
Browning said the department has been unsuccessful in contacting two individuals discovered through contact tracing. It’s possible the contact information for the people is outdated and inaccurate. He said the department will continue attempts to contact the individuals.
Logan County has 47 active cases of the virus, 629 recoveries, 2 unreachable contacts and 43 fatalities for a cumulative total of 721 cases of coronavirus.
Six people are hospitalized.
