Logan County COVID on the rise once again


The Logan County Health Department confirmed twenty cases of COVID-19 Wednesday evening.


Cases in Logan County have been on the decline for months just like the rest of the Mountain State. Active cases dipped below 100 for the first time in 2021 last week. Sixty-six new infections of the coronavirus were reported between Friday the twelfth and Tuesday the sixteenth.


Twenty-two new cases of the virus were confirmed Wednesday night. Fourteen new recoveries were also reported.


Logan County has 133 active cases, 2,691 recoveries and 81 fatalities for a cumulative total of 2,905 cases of COVID-19.


Twenty-one people remain hospitalized.
