Early voting in the Logan County General Election will begin in about two weeks on Wednesday, October 21.
Traditionally, early voting is conducted in the county clerk’s office of the Logan County Courthouse. Logan County Clerk John Turner said the location has been moved, as was the case in the June Primary, to the County Commission office building.
Early Voting hours will be weekdays between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm. The last day for early voting will be on Halloween between 9am and 5pm.
West Virginia voters are permitted to vote absentee due to the virus.
As of this reporting, the Logan County Clerk’s office has mailed out 909 absentee ballots. A total of 447 Logan County voters have already voted.
Absentee Ballot applications must be received by Wednesday, October 28.
