The Logan County Health Department confirmed another death associated with COVID-19 Thursday.
Health Department Director Steve Browning said a 79-year-old female has succumbed to the virus. The death is the thirteenth death in the county since the onset of the outbreak.
As of 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon, 13 new cases of the virus have been confirmed through laboratory testing.
Logan County has 214 active cases of the virus, 221 recoveries, and 13 fatalities for a cumulative total of 448 cases of coronavirus.
Thirty people are hospitalized.
