The Logan County Health Department confirmed one death associated with COVID-19 and 5 new cases of the virus on Tuesday.
Health Department Director Steve Browning said an 84-year-old female is the latest victim of the virus. A total of thirty-eight people in the county have died since the beginning of the outbreak.
As of 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, 5 new cases of the virus have been confirmed through laboratory testing.
Logan County has 79 active cases of the virus, 445 recoveries, and 38 fatalities for a cumulative total of 562 cases of coronavirus.
Twenty-seven people are hospitalized.
