The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 180 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24-hours.
As of 10 o’clock this morning, West Virginia has 4,014 active cases.
A Total of 345 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus since the onset of the outbreak.
Today’s daily positive rate of infection is 3.45%.
According to the state DHHR color-coded map released Tuesday morning, 5 counties are in the “gold” category. “Gold” counties include Lincoln, Wayne and Wyoming.
Boone and Kanawha counties are orange, the second most restrictive category.
Logan is yellow.
McDowell and Mingo counties are green.
West Virginia has 15,692 cumulative cases of coronavirus.
