Logan Reports 1 Death, 1 Delta & 30 New Cases

The Logan County Health Department reported a COVID related death, the first official appearance of the Delta variant and 32 new cases of the virus.

Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the death of a 72-year-old female. The death brings the total to 94 fatalities in Logan County.

The department also confirmed 32 new infections that included a case of the Delta variant. Twelve cases were reported as recovered.

As of Monday afternoon, Logan has 117 active cases of coronavirus. Eleven people are hospitalized.
