Mingo is "orange" For Third Straight Day, According to WV DHHR Color Map


The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 264 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24-hours.


As of 10 o’clock this morning, West Virginia has 4,623 active cases.


Currently, 393 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus since the onset of the outbreak.

Today’s daily positive rate of infection is 3.12%.


According to the state DHHR color-coded map released Thursday morning, Mingo County is orange for the third straight day.


Wayne and Wyoming counties are in the “gold” category.


Boone and Logan counties are yellow.


Lincoln and McDowell counties are green.


Doddridge County is the only county in red.


West Virginia has 19,082 cumulative cases of coronavirus.
