New COVID Cases In Logan, Free Testing Tues.

New cases of COVID-19 were reported in Logan Tuesday.


The Logan County Health Department confirmed sixteen new infections of COVID-19 have been discovered through laboratory testing.


Logan County now has 33 active cases, 3,184 recoveries and 90 fatalities for a cumulative total of 3,307 cases of COVID-19.


Four people are now hospitalized.


Free testing for the virus will continue in the coalfields tomorrow.

Tests will be administered at the following locations.


Town of Man Fire Dept. 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.


Boone County Health Dept. in Danville 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.


Lincoln County Health Dept. in Hamlin 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.


Kermit Fire Dept. 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.


Wyoming County Fire Dept. 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.


There will be no charge for a test.


I.D. is required and those under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present.


Testing is conducted on a first come, first-served basis.
