Nearly 1,800 acres of a reclaimed mine will be developed to create a solar power farm in Martin County, KY.
Edelen Renewables estimates construction on the farm is to begin in 2022 and expects to bring about 300 jobs to the area.
The solar power farm is expected to produce electricity commercially in 2023.
