Tug Valley Football was among the victims of high water and flooding this week.
The Tug River inundated the entire Panther football complex at the high school in Mingo County.
Waters were on the rise Sunday evening. Everything for Tug Valley’s football program was stored in the field house. Efforts were made by Coach Hady Ford and staff to elevate some equipment up out of potential flood waters. However, water was higher than initially imagined.
Uniforms are gone. Dressing facilities, training facilities, coaches’ offices and lockers are destroyed. The field and stands also suffered damage.
