Wayne County is red according to the West Virginia’s county alert map released this morning by the state department of health and human resources. A total of three counties are in red zones today.
Nineteen counties are orange including Boone and Wayne.
Ten counties are gold including Logan and Wyoming.
Thirteen counties are yellow.
Ten counties are green.
The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 469 additional cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.
As of 10 o’clock this morning, West Virginia has 13,535 active cases of coronavirus.
Today’ daily positive infection rate is 3.28%.
Twelve deaths were reported over the last 24-hours. Since the onset of the outbreak, 2,187 West Virginians have succumbed to coronavirus.
W.Va. has administered 227,921 doses of the first round of vaccine. As of 10 o’clock this morning, 115,598 residents have received both rounds of shots.
