WV DHHR Updates Color-Coded Map


The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 213 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24-hours.


As of 10 o’clock Tuesday morning, West Virginia has 3,543 active cases of the virus.


A Total of 317 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus since the onset of the outbreak.

Today’s daily positive rate of infection is 4.78%.


According to the state DHHR color-coded map released this morning, Logan and Boone counties are in the orange category. Mingo, Kanawha and Putnam counties are the only counties in the red category.


Gold counties include Wayne and Wyoming.


Lincoln County is yellow.


McDowell County is green.
