The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 212 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24-hours.


As of 10 o’clock Monday morning, West Virginia has 5,095 active cases.


Currently, 399 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus since the onset of the outbreak.

Today’s daily positive infection rate is 2.21%


According to the state DHHR color-coded map released Monday morning, Mingo and Wayne counties are orange.


Boone County is in the “gold” category.


Logan County is yellow.


Lincoln and McDowell counties are green.


Wyoming County is the only county in red.


West Virginia has 20,293 cumulative cases of coronavirus.
