The Logan County Health Department reports another coronavirus death and issued updates on the latest surge of COVID-19.
Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the death of a 91-year-old male due to complications from the virus. The death marks 148 fatalities since the beginning of the outbreak.
According to the department, 256 additional cases of coronavirus have been discovered through laboratory testing since Friday.
Since the start of the new year, 628 new infections of coronavirus have been reported.
Logan County currently has 335 active cases of COVID-19
Twenty-one people remain hospitalized.
