Southern WV Community & Technical College shows progress after state takeover
Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College is making strides under state oversight. Interim President Dr. Corley Dennison says governance issues have been resolved, and the college is preparing for a Higher Learning Commission visit November 17–18. The council extended Dennison’s contract through May 2026, with the state’s emergency order in place until April 2027.
