Bruno Man Faces Animal Cruelty and Wanton Endangerment Charges

A Bruno man faces multiple charges including animal cruelty and wanton endangerment.


Logan County Deputies responded to a shots fired call Monday, January third. According to the complaint filed in Logan County Magistrate Court, officers were advised a suspect had allegedly shot a dog and was in a verbal altercation with the owner.


Deputies made contact with the owners at the scene and obtained audio statements. The victims stated they heard a single gun shot and alleged 56-year-old Pribble Jesse Rose Jr. was pointing a gun at their dog. The victims said the defendant brandished the firearm at them before running off to his residence.


Rose was located at his residence. Deputies charged him with three counts of wanton endangerment, two counts of brandishing a firearm and animal cruelty.

Bond was set at $20,000.
