Early Voting Begins In Logan Co. Wednesday

Early voting in the Logan County General Election will begin in one week on Wednesday, October 21.


Early Voting hours will be weekdays between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. Voters may cast ballots early on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm. The last day for early voting will be on Halloween between 9am and 5pm.


According to Logan County Clerk John Turner, early voting will be conducted in the County Commission office building on Stratton Street across from the county courthouse.


West Virginia voters are permitted to vote absentee due to the coronavirus outbreak.


As of this reporting, the Logan County Clerk’s office has mailed out 1,030 absentee ballots. A total of 643 Logan County voters have already voted.


Absentee ballot applications must be received by Wednesday, October 28.


Voting in county precincts is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3.
