The City of Logan has changed the date of its Easter events to April 7 due to weather conditions.
The event was originally scheduled for today, but has been postponed due to the cold temperatures in the area.
The Logan Easter Bunny Pictures and Candy Parade will happen April 7th from 5 – 8 p.m. at the City of Logan Gazebo Welcome Lot.
Kids will be able to take photos with the Easter Bunny and walk around to tables gathering eggs and candy.
City Clerk Amber Miller-Belcher explains the event is similar to a trunk-or-treat.
“We will be putting tables up around the lot, and kids will be able to walk around the lot, where the Easter Bunny will be, and collect eggs from everyone who has tables set up,” Miller Belcher said. “Trunk-or-treat was sort of the mind behind it. It’ll be like a trunk-or-treat style, only they’re going to tables and collecting eggs for their Easter baskets.”
Thousands of eggs have been prepared for the event.
