The Mingo County Health Department announced eight new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed over the long weekend.
The Boone County Health Department confirmed 6 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.
Four of the cases are contacts to another case. The other two are community acquired. One is in the hospital and the other five are at home in quarantine.
Boone County’s cumulative total of cases is 162, with 33 active cases and 129 recovered cases.
Two cases are currently hospitalized.
