Mingo Central Dangles In Top 10 With No Games Played

This week’s WV Metro News Power Rankings for high school football were released.

In class AA, Mingo Central barely holds on to a spot in the top 10. The Miners haven’t played any games this season due to coronavirus precautions.

Rankings in class AA this week are as follows:


1. Oak Glen

2. Poca

3. Bluefield

4. Fairmont Senior

5. Frankfort

6. Keyser

7. Robert C. Byrd

8. Independence

9. Clay County

10. Mingo Central


In class A, Tolsia moved up in the rankings from number 8 to number 6.


Rankings in class A this week are as follows:


1. Doddridge County

2. Greenbrier West

3. St. Mary’s

4. Wheeling Central

5. Williamstown

6. Toslia

7. East Hardy

8. Tygarts Valley

9. Ritchie County

10. Midland Trail
