Tony Hodge elected as co-chair of West Virginia Republican Executive Committee

The West Virginia Republican Party has elected Tony Hodge as its new co-chairman.

CHARLESTON Hodge, who serves as chairman of the Putnam County Republican Executive Committee, was unanimously chosen to serve alongside State Party Chairman Josh Holstein, who represents Boone County in the House of Delegates.

Holstein was re-elected in another unanimous decision to stay in the role of Chairman.

“I am humbled and so grateful for the confidence of our State Executive Committee,” Holstein said in a statement. “I look forward to continuing my service as Chairman and leading our party towards victory."

Hodge says he wants to help strengthen the party while representing Republicans across every region of the state.

"Serving the West Virginia Republican Party has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” he said in a written statement. “I am thankful for the confidence the State Executive Committee has placed in our leadership team. I look forward to working alongside Chairman Josh Holstein as party Co-Chairman and continuing to lead our party to further success."

Holstein praised Hodge's leadership and says he looks forward to working with him to continue growing the party.
