According to Logan County 911, two people were injured and transported to a hospital following a house fire Monday night.

There is currently no update on their condition. The house was destroyed by a reported explosion.

The fire is still under investigation, but authorities believe natural gas played a role in the cause of the explosion.

A portion of Route 10 was closed due to the fire. Both lanes of the highway were closed while firefighters worked to put out the flames.

Route 10 was open back to traffic after midnight.
