2 Virus Deaths and 8 New Cases in Logan Reported Friday.

The Logan County Health Department confirmed 2 deaths and 8 cases of COVID-19 Friday.


According to Health Department Director Steve Browning, a 47-year-old male and a 63-year-old female succumbed to complications from coronavirus.


As of noon today, 8 new cases of the virus were confirmed through laboratory testing.


Logan County has 109 active cases, 964 recoveries, and 53 fatalities for a cumulative total of 1,126 cases of COVID-19.


Fifteen people are hospitalized.


Free testing for COVID-19 will be conducted Saturday at the Main Island Creek Volunteer Fire Department between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.


Insurance and doctor’s order are not required.


Attendees should bring identification. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
