89th COVID death recorded in Logan County, 13 new infections

The Logan County Health Department confirmed the eighty-ninth death attributed to COVID-19 Tuesday.
Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed an additional death Tuesday afternoon. A 66-year-old male died due to complications from the coronavirus. Since the onset of the outbreak, 89 Logan Countians have succumbed to COVID-19.
Thirteen new infections of the virus were confirmed through laboratory testing this afternoon.
Logan County has 76 active cases, 2,967 recoveries and 89 fatalities for a cumulative total of 3,132 cases of COVID-19.
Five people remain hospitalized.
