91st Death Due To COVID Reported In Logan County


Monday evening the Logan County Health Department confirmed the ninety-first death in the county due to COVID-19.


Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the death of a 61-year-old male due to complications from coronavirus.


New cases of the virus have been reported in Logan since the department’s last update on Friday. A total of five new cases were discovered over the weekend and one cases was reported Tuesday. Eleven recoveries have been reported since Friday.


Testing for the virus is being conducted today at the Town of Man Fire Department until five o’clock. Free testing will return to the Logan Resource Center at Peach Creek this Friday between noon and 5 p.m.


Logan County now has 20 active cases, 3,213recoveries and 91 fatalities for a cumulative total of 3,324 cases of COVID-19.


Three people are hospitalized.
