Active coronavirus cases in West Virginia continue to decrease.
The state Department of Health and Human Resources on Sunday reported 13,659 active cases. Officials did not confirm any additional deaths; the total for the pandemic is 3,722.
Hospitalizations declined from 958 cases to 915 cases. According to the health department, 269 people are receiving treatment in intensive care and 177 people are on ventilators.
Vaccination numbers have not been updated since Friday; more than one million West Virginians have received at least one vaccine dose.
