An arrest was made in connection with a fatal hit and run in Mingo County
Mingo County Deputies arrested 35-year-old Nathan James Williams and charged him with DUI causing death, leaving the scene of a deadly accident and failure to render aid causing death.
A pedestrian walking along state Route 65 at North Matewan was allegedly struck and killed by a red Ford F-150 Monday evening around 7:30 p.m.
Mingo County Sheriff’s Department report the suspect was apprehended in the Isaban area of Mingo County
The name of the victim has not been released.
Williams is being at the Southwestern Regional Jail as a pretrial felon.
