Best Virginia will have a chance to punch it’s ticket to Dayton Ohio on after they picked up a 63-51 win over D2 Monday Night.
The late game of the TBT saw WVU alumni team Best Virginia never trail on their way to the regional final where they will take on TBT veterans Team 23 in a highly anticipated showdown after Team 23 beat Herd That, the Marshall alumni team.
Best Virginia was led by Kevin Jones who had 13 points while 3 former Mountaineer’s were tied for second in scoring for the team with 11 points. Those players were Tarik Phillip, Nathan Adrian, and Jamel Morris.
Best Virginia will take on Team 23 on Wednesday at 9pm with a chance to move to the Dayton championship rounds of the TBT. That game, as well as Sideline Cancer vs The Bucketneers, will both be on WVOW Radio starting at 7pm.
