JEFFREY A Boone County woman was charged Sunday with stabbing another woman in the sternum.
According to state police, 40-year-old Amber Kinser of Danville has been charged with malicious wounding. Troopers said she stabbed 45-year-old Carleen Ferrell, of Jeffrey in the chest with a knife.
Ferrell was flown to Charleston Area Medical Center.
Kinser was located at a nearby residence, arrested and jailed at Southwestern Regional Jail.
