Concerned residents of Logan County have been contacting the Logan County Sheriff’s Office concerning a threat made online to Logan High School. However, it’s the wrong Logan High School.
A story originating from WKBT in La Crosse, Wisonsin explains that local police announced they identified individuals making threats on Snapchat directed toward students and staff of Logan High School in the School District of La Crosse, Wis.
According to Principal Wally Gnewikow, the online post was not considered to be an imminent threat.
The Logan W.Va. Sheriff’s Department published their own post on social media about the incident in the Badger State. The sheriff’s office also included the news article in La Crosse.
This isn’t the first time a Logan elsewhere has caused confusion locally. Many residents went out trick-or-treating hours early last Halloween due to announced times in Logan, Ohio
Classes in La Crosse were on their regular schedule Tuesday.
