COVID-19 Hospitalizations At A Pandemic High In W.Va.

The state Department of Health and Human Resources reported a pandemic-high of COVID-19 patients in hospitals across the state Wednesday.

The 797 patients breaks the previous hospitalization record of 781 which came on Dec. 16. There are 209 patients in ICU with 93 patients on ventilators.

Overall deaths from COVID-19 in West Virginia increased to 1,318 in numbers released Wednesday.
