The Logan County Health Department reported a death attributed to COVID-19 Monday.
Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the death of a 62-year-old male due to complications from coronavirus. Since the onset of the outbreak, 143 Logan County residents have succumbed to COVID-19.
Browning also confirmed 56 new infections discovered through laboratory since Friday. A total of 65 cases was cleared for recovery over the weekend.
Logan Conty currently has 142 active cases of coronavirus.
Fifteen people are hospitalized.
