COVID Vaccines Will Be Offered At Basketball Tourney

Those in attendance at the West Virginia state high school basketball tournaments will have the chance to get a COVID-19 vaccine if they want one.

The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department, Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority and the Charleston Fire Department will be on hand to provide the vaccines during the upcoming tournaments at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center, according to a news release from the health department.

Anyone over the age of 16 may receive a vaccine before or during the games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, April 27-29 and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, May 4-6.
