Chapmanville Regional High School student Alexus Vance took first place for ninth and tenth grade division of the Young Writer’s contest in Logan County.
Vance’s entry, Museums Aren't Just for Dinosaurs, placed third in the state West Virginia.
The Young Writers Day event will be virtually attended by Vance and her teacher Mrs. Trump on May 7, 2021.
