The West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission has extended the deadline for the West Virginia Higher Education Grant.
The new deadline of July 1 comes amid a lower increase in college enrollment nationwide because of the coronavirus pandemic. The program’s previous deadline was April 15.
Schools across West Virginia did not reach previous numbers regarding the national Free Application for Federal Student Aid and PROMISE Scholarship applications. The state Higher Education Policy Commission previously extended the deadline for the PROMISE Scholarship to July 1.
