BRANCHLAND Police investigate a deadly shooting in Lincoln County.
The shooting was reported at Sand Gap Road in Branchland. The shooting happened Thursday night October thirteenth before seven o’clock.
West Virginia State Police arrested 30-year-old Cory Donahue for allegedly shooting 34-year-old Richard Vance.
Vane was shot once with a long gun, according to police. He was flown out to a hospital, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Donahue has been charged with murder.
The investigation is ongoing.
