The West Virginia DHHR confirmed the first case of the Delta variant of COVID-19 in Logan County.
Elsewhere in the Coalfields, Boone County is reported to have one Delta case.
One Delta case has been reported in Lincoln, Wayne and Mingo County.
McDowell County has 8 reported cases of the Delta variant.
Wyoming County is reported to have 7 cases of the Delta variant.
