DUI checkpoint set for Logan this Wednesday

West Virginia State Police are set to conduct a sobriety checkpoint this Wednesday in Logan.

The checkpoint will take place between six o’clock and midnight on WV 73 this Wednesday, August 27th.

According to a press release from the Logan Detachment of State Police, an alternate checkpoint has been designated on Enterprise Drive at Deskin’s Addition.

The checkpoint’s primary focus is DUI enforcement, however police will be enforcing all driving infractions including: reckless driving, speeding, and seat belt violations.
