Free COVID-19 testing will be administered this week in the coalfields.
In Logan, free testing for coronavirus will be conducted at the former 84 Lumber location at Peach Creek between 10am and 2pm Wednesday.
Testing will be available Wednesday in Wayne County at the health department 217 Kenova Ave. between 9am and 1pm.
On Thursday, testing will be conducted at the Boone County Health Department in Danville between 1pm and 6pm.
The Lincoln County Health Department will administer tests for the virus Thursday in Hamlin between 9am and 2pm.
Mingo County will hold a testing event at the Delbarton Volunteer Fire Department Friday between 10am and 2pm.
There will be no charge for a test and insurance is not required.
Attendees should bring identification and those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Testing is conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.
