MAN   Tug Valley pitchers Bailee Hall and Emma Lackey combined to hold Man hitless in the Lady Panthers 16-0 five inning victory over the Lady Hillbillies Tuesday evening at the Man Softball Complex.

Hall picked up the win in the circle after striking out three over the first two innings. Lackey struck out three and walked one to earn a three inning save for Tug Valley (8-5).

The win was the 100th career victory for Tug Valley coach Rocky Hall.

Taylor Lester struggled to find the strike zone for Man (0-5). Lester allowed 16 runs on 11 hits with two strike outs, but walked 18 in the defeat.

Hall got things going for Tug Valley in the first inning as she hit a solo home run on the game's first pitch for a 1-0 lead. The Lady Panthers would score five in the first followed by three in the second, two in the third, four in the fourth and added two additional runs in the fifth.

Eight different Lady Panthers were credited with an RBI and three of those eight drove in three runs or more.

Lackey had three hits including a double and four RBI. Katie Hall collected three hits, scored four runs and drove in one for Tug Valley. Caylee Stelle had two hits, three RBI and Aleksah Osborne drove in three runs despite going hitless on the evening.

Shyanna Frye reached on an error in the first inning, Sophia Phillips was safe on an error in the fourth, Rihanna Wyant drew a fifth inning walk and Lester was hit by a pitch in the fifth to account for the only Lady Hillbillies base runners.

Man returns to action April 23 on the road at Sherman.
