A Raleigh County man has been sentenced to federal prison after admitting to selling methamphetamine.

CHARLESTON The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of West Virginia says 47-year-old Jeremy Dale Shuck, of Coal City, was sentenced Tuesday to five years in prison followed by four years of supervised release.

According to court records, Shuck sold nearly 14 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant for $200 at a Beaver service station on July 16th, 2024.

He admitted to the sale as part of a guilty plea.

The investigation was conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Beckley-Raleigh County Drug and Violent Crime Unit.
