Man High School picked up a huge win on the road at Wahama with a final score of 64-51 to capture the single A region four co-championship. The Man Hillbillies are now headed to the W.Va. Boys Basketball State Tournament in Charleston.

Man will be one of the top eight single A schools in the state represented in capital city next week as the state boys basketball tournament invades the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.

The Hillbilles and White Falcons were in a close contest up to halftime with a Man lead 30-24 at the break. The Billies length and size proved to be too much in this one for Wahama as Man sustained a healthy lead after halftime.

The Billies then used a 26-9 run in the third quarter to extend their lead and Wahama was not within 10 points again.

The Hillbillies were led by Austin Ball with 23 points and a multiple slam dunks. Caleb Blevins finished with sixteen. Jackson Tackett and Ryan Cozart both earned nine points. Jeremiah Harless brought in eight for the Man win.

The Hillbillies now head to Charleston as the #1 seed in the Class A state tournament and will play #8 Tucker County on Tuesday at 5:30 p. m.
